Dear Prospective RLGA Member,                                                                       January 26, 2012

We welcome all new and returning members to register for the upcoming RLGA 2012 season.  The Membership Application Form and Payment must be received by March 1, 2012 to have your directory information included in the RLGA Booklet, which will be distributed on May 1.  Our Annual Membership Meeting will be on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Ridgefield Community Center.  Our annual membership fee remains at $64.

Ridgefield Golf Course is fortunate to have Frank Sergiovanni, Golf Director, who strongly supports the Ridgefield Ladies Golf Association. Ridgefield Golf Course is implementing a new, tiered membership in 2012.  Please check the golf course web site at www.ridgefieldgc.com or call the golf course (203-748-7008) for information.

Our 9-hole League is for golfers of all levels of experience and play.  Our 18-hole League is for golfers with an established handicap of 40 or less.  Handicaps are posted in the Ladies Lounge and will be necessary for most Tuesday contests.  New members will be assigned a GHIN number and must post 5 gross scores in the computer at the course.  Once a new member posts her 5th score in the handicap computer system, her newly established handicap will be included in the bulletin board listing after the next GHIN handicap revision is calculated.  New members are then eligible for Tuesday contests.

League play commences on April 3, 2012, through November 6, 2012.  Sign ups and Tee Times will be posted in the Ladies Lounge at the golf course and on our website (www.rlga.net).  All Tuesday scores MUST be posted Tuesday on the course computer or on the www.GHIN.com website.  On-going audits will be performed this season to ensure members are properly posting all scores.  Tuesday scorecards must be signed, attested and placed in the Ladies Lounge Box for 9-holers or 18-holers.  Players must have played in five RLGA events to be eligible for the club championship tournament.

Aug 14. . . . . .      = Charity Day

Sept 18, 21, 25   =  Club Championships (Match Play Tournament)

Nov 13. . . . . .      = End of the Year Luncheon
